Asprinio is a typical vine of the Agro-Aversano area. The marked acidity of the grapes and the slight aroma make this distillate suitable for barrel aging where stronger aromas could interfere with the notes given by the wood.

Our small oak barrels (from 30 to 100 litres) have a very high exchange surface, which leads to greater oxygenation of the spirit and a more intimate contact with the wood. The evolutionary process is very intense, just think that after just one year of aging we record a loss of alcohol of around 12%. However, the part of alcohol that flies away leaves us with all its richness, what remains is a true golden quintessence.
